Chelsea Roy

is a Houston based event planner and the owner of EBTR Events/Everything But The Ring.

Born and raised in Calgary, Canada, Chelsea started Everything But The Ring, a wedding planning company, in 2011. She moved to Houston in 2014 and continued planning weddings while seeing Houston’s incredible philanthropic and social event presence and the need for professional, qualified planners across event types. EBTR Events is a fusion of her history of planning elegant, sophisticated weddings and the exciting foray into non-profit, corporate and social galas and events.

Chelsea has won multiple awards for Best Non-Profit event planning in Houston, state wide in Texas and internationally. She is also the recipient of the honorable ILEA Esprit award for Best Event With a Legacy.

When not planning and executing stunning events, Chelsea is a proud Founder of and Past President of a wedding industry non-profit board as well as being an international committee member for ILEA (The International Live Events Association.) Having spent 5 years on the local Chapter’s board and having served as Chapter President, this experience has poised her for excellent understanding of the non-profit fundraising world and the complex details of those events and social gatherings.
